Accounts Payable Manager, Oxford (hybrid), £45,000-£55,000 

We are seeking an experienced and talented Accounts Payable Transformation Manager, to join our clients growing finance team and contribute to their ongoing success.

As the Accounts Payable Transformation Manager, you will play a critical role in managing the day-to-day operations of the finance department, with a focus on the accounts payable function. You will lead a team of professionals and be responsible for overseeing, optimising, and enhancing our financial processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities for the P2P Transformation Manager: 

  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Manage and lead the accounts payable team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and achievement of department goals.
  • Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, vendor management, and payment disbursement.
  • Implement and maintain best practices, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the accounts payable process.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Provide financial insights and reporting to senior management, supporting decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with key vendors and negotiate payment terms.

Qualifications for the the P2P Transformation Manager: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a professional certification is a plus
  • Proven experience in accounts payable, financial management, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
  • Exceptional leadership, team management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement and automation.
  • Detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships with vendors, colleagues, and management.
