Job Description: Accounts Receivable Clerk

Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Leeds

Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Accounting

Salary: £23,000 - £26,000 per annum

Company Branding: FMCG, 25% year on year growth, Shared Service Centre

Job Duties:

  • Manage the accounts receivable function of the company, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing to customers
  • Perform reconciliations of customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues
  • Allocate cash receipts to customer accounts and update the financial records
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer payments
  • Prepare and distribute regular statements and reports to customers
  • Assist with credit control activities, including assessing credit limits and managing credit terms
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer queries and provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes as required
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a shared service centre environment
  • Knowledge of FMCG industry practises
