Job Title: Finance Business Partner - £70,000 per annum - London
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Business Partner to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Partner with key stakeholders across departments to provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making processes.
- Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and performance reports, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Conduct variance analysis and identify areas of improvement to optimize financial performance.
- Provide guidance and support in financial planning and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop business cases, financial models, and investment proposals.
- Evaluate and assess potential risks and opportunities, recommending appropriate actions to achieve financial objectives.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to track business performance and identify trends.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Provide financial support for business projects, including cost analysis, profitability assessments, and ROI calculations.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and provide proactive financial guidance.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner or similar role, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, with proficiency in MS Excel or similar tools.
- Excellent understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear and actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to identify opportunities for financial improvement.
- Experience with financial systems and software (e.g., ERP, financial planning tools).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and a high level of integrity.
- Proactive mindset and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Experience in a similar role within the industry is desirable but not mandatory.
