About the Company:

IN2 Consult are working with a client who are a logistical and supply chain PE backed business that has experienced consistent growth year on year. With a current revenue of £40 million, they are on track to reach £60 million next year.

Job Summary:

As the Financial Controller, you will be working in the office and have the opportunity to gain excellent exposure to a varied controllership position. This role will provide you with the chance to develop your career in the field of accounting. From preparing and reviewing accounts, implementing new systems and controls to ensuring the rapid growth is continuing.

Job Duties:

  • Perform financial accounting activities, including the maintenance of accurate financial records and preparation of financial statements
  • Manage fixed assets and ensure accurate recording and tracking
  • Conduct consolidation of financial data from various sources
  • Oversee stock control and management processes
  • Manage cash flow and ensure effective cash management
  • Prepare month-end reports and analysis
  • Create management accounts packs for review and analysis
  • Perform revenue reconciliation
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliation

Required Qualifications:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practises
  • Experience with fixed assets management
  • Knowledge of consolidation techniques
  • Proficiency in stock control and management
  • Ability to effectively manage cash flow
  • Experience in month-end reporting and analysis
  • Ability to prepare management accounts packs
  • Knowledge of revenue reconciliation processes
  • Expertise in balance sheet reconciliation
  • PE experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional certifications or degrees in accounting or finance

Working Conditions:

This is an office-based role located in North London. The working hours are flexible and the core hours are between 10-4. The role offers a competitive salary of £65,000 - £70,000 per annum, along with a bonus scheme.
