Group Financial Controller

Group Financial Controller - up to £150,000 +Car - Basingstoke (2 days p/w week in the office)  - initial 9-12 month fixed term contract.

IN2 Consult is partnering with an internationally recognised client on the recruitment of a Group Financial Controller.

The key responsibilities of this Group Financial Controller role includes:

• Management of preparation of IFRS Plc Group Interim Statements, Preliminary statements and Annual Report and Accounts
• Management of the Group’s external year-end audit and interim review, including Audit Committee reports and presentations
• Management of the reporting for the Group’s overseas sales entities (15+) in Europe, Asia and the Middle East run by an out-sourced provider
• Ensuring accurate management and statutory reporting, local audits and local direct and indirect tax compliance
• Management of the Group out-sourced Internal Audit function
• Monitoring and developing the Group’s internal control matrix and accounting policies
• Providing guidance on complex technical accounting matters including IFRS 15 revenue recognition and debt modification accounting
• Finance lead for development and enhancing of SAP BYD and BPC Group systems
• Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, Group FP&A, Group Tax and Treasury and Finance Business partners
• Group Reporting (including monthly group multi-currency consolidation and cash flow reporting, quarterly covenant compliance, interim and year-end external reporting): o UK Financial Operations (including general ledger accounting, overseas subsidiary reporting, back office treasury function.
• Management of 20+ emoployees.
