Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Clerk
- Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Match purchase orders with invoices and verify appropriate approvals.
- Perform reconciliations of vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and process payments to vendors in a timely manner.
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any invoice or payment discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of accounts payable transactions.
- Contribute to process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the accounts payable function.
- Accounting or similar degree preferred, but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices and payments.
