Assistant Vice President Product Development- Central London (Hybrid)- £65,000-£80,000- ACCA/ACA/ICAEW

IN2 Consult is partnering with a high growth, international client in the Financial Services sector on the recruitment of a Assistant Vice President Product Development to join a new division within their organisation.

This role has a heavy focus on partnering with both IT, accounting and operations teams to oversee the development and launch of new products.

 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate on new product discovery and contract reviews to evaluate the financial implications of upcoming initiatives.

  • Conduct thorough testing to verify the completeness and accuracy of data flows across systems and confirm correct accounting entries are made.

  • Support the Finance team in delivering New Products by contributing to planning efforts and maintaining clear documentation of implementation progress.

  • Identify and address existing challenges, effectively communicating these to Finance and Product teams to remove barriers for future product launches.

  • Create comprehensive documentation of end-to-end accounting considerations and testing processes for new products, ensuring a well-maintained audit trail for sign-off purposes.

  • Build strong relationships with Product, Engineering, and Finance teams, becoming a key player in day-to-day product development and market expansion activities.

What We’re Looking For

  • ACCA/ACA or equivalent fully qualified with at least 3 years of post-qualified experience

  • Solid understanding of IFRS and core accounting principles.

  • Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, adapting communication and collaboration styles as needed.

  • Experience analyzing transaction flows and finance processes, ideally in an audit setting, to identify risks and implement proper controls.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, with strong skills in data analysis and reconciliation.

  • A hands-on approach, showing initiative in tackling complex challenges and proactively solving problems.

  • Experience in payments or fast-paced, high-growth organizations is a plus.
