This Senior FP&A Manager role includes the following duties:
- Lead and oversee small teams involved in various FP&A projects, such as reporting, budgeting, forecasting, decision support, and data management, ensuring that the final output is suitable for non-financial stakeholder consumption.
- Engage with and challenge stakeholders regarding assumptions and conclusions to maintain the highest level of analytical rigor.
- Use market knowledge alongside historical data to provide insight to stakeholders on how to increase business output.
- Create complex reports, models, and strategies to support projects that involve various forms of data and offer recommendations.
- Scrutinize current and projected financial information to guarantee accuracy, and provide comprehensive commentary for any errors or discrepancies compared to the budget.
- Offer guidance on cost control to stakeholders, ensuring adherence to proper financial processes, procedures, and accounting policies.
- Continuously seek ways to improve processes and collaborate with the wider FP&A team to implement these changes.
- Mentor team members, helping them identify opportunities for their growth as Finance professionals.
- Provide Ad-hoc Analysis where required, alongside insight and commentary in order to appear easily digestible to non-financial stakeholders.
The ideal candidate for this Senior FP&A Manager role will have the following experience:
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified
- Strong exposure to senior-level stakeholders, both financial and non-financial
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively whilst ensuring accuracy of your work
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to communicate effectively to the wider business
- Continuous process improvement mindset
- Highly competent with Excel
- Ability to work towards tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
