Credit Team Leader | 15-month FTC

Location: Hemel Hempstead

Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 Per annum

Job Description:

As a Credit Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the credit team's operations and ensuring efficient collections processes. Your duties will include:

• Line Management of 6 Credit Controllers
• Delegating tasks to team members 
• Assisting in the improvment and cohesion of the collections strategy
• Hands-on support for the team and practises
• Working with our debt collection agency to deliver on smooth collections
• Reviewing current procedures and policies, making necessary improvements
• Monitoring branch and team performance/development

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a credit control role
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• At least 5 years of experience in credit control
• Sound knowledge of collections processes and procedures
• Proficiency in ERP systems
