Overview - 

I am working with a dynamic and rapidly expanding company in the Biotechnology sector, committed to innovation and excellence. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a talented and driven Finance Manager to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong audit background to transition into an industry role and make a significant impact on the organization's financial operations.

 

Responsibilities - 

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and business development efforts.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure to optimize financial performance.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making and drive business growth.
  • Lead and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Requirements - 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Experience in audit, preferably with a Big Four or reputable audit firm.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of financial reporting standards (IFRS, GAAP, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial management systems; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
