Senior Finance Manager (Audit) - Permanent - Blackburn (Fully Office Based) - Up to £67,500 + Bonus
IN2 Consult have a brand new, exciting opportunity for to join our client's ever-growing Finance function as a Senior Finance Manager for Audit. We're looking for an experienced Finance professional who is looking from their first move from practice into industry to play a business critical role in the financial reporting activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall project managing of the group statutory audit. Please note, this role is based in the office 5 days per week.
The duties of the Senior Finance Manager - Audit role includes:
- Project managing the statutory external audit
- Managing a detailed audit task tracker across the group's finance function
- Managing the relationship between internal finance teams and external auditors
- Running audit update meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Preparing ad-hoc financial requests to deliver to internal and external stakeholders
- Implementing process improvements and identifying areas for automation to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the reporting process
The successful Senior Finance Manager - Audit will:
- Be fully qualified in ACA / ACCA / CIMA with at least 3 years post qualified experience
- Have experience of working within practice, ideally from a Top 10 background
