IN2 Consult is partnering with a true market leader with a global presence on the recruitment of a Head of Technical Accounting to join their function on a permanent basis.

The key duties of this Head of Technical Accounting role include:
- Provide expert guidance on all accounting matters aligned with IFRS standards.
- Develop and maintain the Group Accounting Policies taxonomy to establish clear guidelines.
- Implement an effective mechanism to ensure Group-wide compliance with accounting policies.
- Coordinate and deliver relevant technical training to country teams to enhance their expertise.
- Conduct ongoing assessments and provide comprehensive reports on the development of accounting standards, including their potential impact on the Group.
- Take the lead in addressing technical matters with Group auditors, covering areas such as PPE Impairment, Goodwill Impairment, Provisions, Share-based Payments, Acquisition Accounting, IFRS 15, and IFRS 16 standards.
- Provide essential support for monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheet reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
The key requirements for this role include:
- ACA/ICAEW/ACCA Fully Qualified
- This client is ideally looking for a first time mover from an audit firm at an Audit Manager level or above
- Strong understanding of complex accounting standards, in particular IFRS 15 and 16
- Strong communication skills
- Process improvement driven personality
