IN2 Consult - Accounting Manager - Watford - £65,000 to £75,000 per annum plus 20% bonus - ACA or ACCA qualified - 2 days a week office based - Revenue Recognition (IFRS 15).
IN2 Consult is currently supporting a high growth, PE Backed business based in Watford, with the recruitment of an Accounting Manager to join the finance function. They are looking for someone with specific expertise within Revenue Recognition (IFRS 15). This role will report into the CFO and will require travel to the office in Watford 2 days a week.
Key duties surrounding this Accounting Manager position:
- Serve as the Revenue Recognition's team subject matter expert on revenue accounting and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Sales, Marketing, legal, deal desk and business operations.
- Review revenue related contracts for compliance with the businesses revenue recognition policy, IFRS 15 and determine appropriate treatment
- Prepare Deal summaries for each Deal review
- Business Partner with board level stakeholders to ensure accurate compliance and use of IFRS 15
- Providing a technical insight into IFRS 15 to key stakeholders
- Maintain and update internal controls documentation for revenue recognition and support audits of internal controls
- Thorough understanding of IFRS 15 implications for revenue recognition, preferred
- Work closely with the Company's internal and external auditors as required to ensure approved revenue policies are adhered to and monitored and prepare schedules and reports in support of annual audit
- Work closely with team to document and write ad hoc policy as well as updates to current policy.
- Support SSP studies
Key experience required for this Accounting Manager position is as follows:
- ACA/ CA or ACCA qualified
- Background experience working in audit - Either Big 4 or top 10 practises
- Experience in IFRS 15 - Revenue Recognition
- Proven track record of partnering with key stakeholders
- Ability to drive process improvement
