IN2Consult / Accounts Assistant / up to £35,000 pa / Camden / Permanent / Hybrid working
IN2Consult are working with an education company based in the Camden area who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is a permanent position, offering up to £35,000 pa & two days of remote working per week, with occasional additional flexibility. This role is primarily a transactional focused position but you will also be responsible for more advanced tasks such as month end & budget & forecasting. This is an excellent chance for someone to progress into more advanced areas of accounting. Please see below the responsibilities -
Responsibilities

Perform payment runs (twice a month) - processes supplier's invoices, following correct
processes for authorisation and payments and ensuring all invoices are processed in a
timely manner. -
Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations and various other reconciliations including
aged creditors, aged debtors, and accounts payable ledger. -
Assist with quarterly VAT returns and other HMRC and statutory compliance.

Assisting in production of monthly management accounts for the company and be
involved in analysing the budget spend. -
Processing payroll, pension, and other staff benefits, ensuring all control in place.

Other duties as assigned.
Skills Required
- At least two years if accounting experience.
- Excellent level of communication & confidence.
- Strong understanding of MS Excel as well as one of the major finacne systems.
- Part qualified in either AAT, ACCA or CIMA
