Accounts Payable Team Lead- Blackburn- Circa. £30,000 + Bonus & Benefits- Permanent
IN2 Consult is partnering with a market leader and one of the biggest brands in the world on the recruitment of an experienced Accounts Payable team lead to oversee a team of purchase ledger specialists within an exciting, high growth environment.
The key duties of this AP team lead role include:
- Overseeing the day to day activities of a team of accounts payable specialists
- Drive the performance, output and efficiency of individuals within the team
- Being the key point of contact for resolving complex accounts payable queries Ensure the timely and accurate processing of invoices/credits received including, coding and posting of invoices
- Driving Accounts Payable targets, including reduction of debit balances and unallocated payments Build excellent relationships with Suppliers and internal departments to resolve any queries on a timely basis
- Business partner with key stakeholders across all entities
- Ad-Hoc Duties
The desired candidate for this Accounts Payable team lead role should have the following experience:
- Strong experience in accounts payable/ purchase ledger roles
- Experience in resolving complex AP queries
- Experience in mentoring/ supervising more junior colleagues
- Experience in working within a large, fast paced environment or a Shared Service Centre
- Proven track record of driving process improvement
- Experience in SAP would be highly beneficial
- Strong communication skills
