Accounts Receivable Manager- Central London (2 Days P/W in the office)- £70,000-£75,000 + Bonus & Benefits- Permanent

IN2 Consult is partnering with a high growth technology business on the recruitment of an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join their growing
transactional finance team. 

 

The purpose of the role is to oversee the AR team whilst championing change and processes improvements, driving automations and pushing forward processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing Accounts Receivable (AR) team, ensuring clear responsibilities, objectives, and performance metrics are in place to drive operational excellence.
  • Oversee day-to-day AR operations, including month-end close activities and workflow management, ensuring alignment with business objectives and cash flow targets.
  • Create and manage team and individual performance development plans, conducting regular reviews to ensure continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Provide coaching, regular one-to-one meetings, and structured performance reviews to support professional growth and team development.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, actively identifying and implementing process enhancements, automation opportunities, and systems optimisation to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Prepare and present accurate, insightful monthly AR and credit control reports to senior leadership.
  • Develop, track, and analyse a comprehensive suite of KPIs to evaluate team performance and overall debtor health.
  • Lead monthly credit review meetings to assess aged debt and refine collection strategies.
  • Ensure transparent and timely communication with key internal stakeholders, promoting a collaborative, solutions-focused environment.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance to resolve disputes and improve the end-to-end collections process.
  • Drive operational improvements through identification and implementation of best practices, automation solutions, and systems enhancements.
  • Utilise tools such as YayPay to streamline workflows, enhance customer communication, and increase real-time visibility of outstanding receivables.
  • Maintain up-to-date internal documentation, including AR policies, handbooks, and process guides, ensuring they support compliance, onboarding, and ongoing training needs.
Knowledge and Experience
  • Strong track record of managing Accounts Receivable / O2C teams
  • Experience in driving automation and transformation from an Accounts Receivable perspective
  • Experience in implementing and improving ERP systems
  • Strong communication skills
  • 5+ Years of Accounts Receivable experience within a fast paced environment
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse and manipulate large datasets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a continuous improvement mindset.
