Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced D365 F&O Functional Consultant for a 6-month contract based in London. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) and a strong background in implementing and optimizing D365 F&O solutions. You will be responsible for working closely with clients to understand their business processes, translating these into system requirements, and ensuring the successful delivery of D365 F&O implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to capture detailed business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Solution Design: Design and configure D365 F&O solutions that meet the client's business needs, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Implementation: Lead the implementation of D365 F&O modules, including Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations, ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to ensure the solution meets all functional and non-functional requirements.
- Training & Support: Provide end-user training and post-implementation support to ensure smooth adoption and utilization of the system.
- Project Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including solution design, process flows, and user guides.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, technical consultants, and project managers, to ensure project success.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
Skills & Experience Required:
- D365 F&O Expertise: Proven experience in implementing and configuring Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, with a focus on finance, supply chain, and operations modules.
- Functional Knowledge: Strong understanding of business processes in finance, supply chain, procurement, and operations, with the ability to translate these into system requirements.
- Project Experience: Experience in delivering full-cycle D365 F&O implementations, from requirements gathering through to go-live and post-go-live support.
- Technical Understanding: Basic knowledge of D365 F&O technical components, including integrations, data migration, and customizations.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently when required.

- Certifications: Microsoft certifications in D365 F&O or related areas.
