Job Overview for the Credit Controller:
We are seeking a skilled and multilingual Credit Controller to join our clients large finance team with a particular focus on European languages. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing credit control activities, ensuring timely payments from clients, and maintaining strong relationships with customers across Europe. Fluency in English and proficiency in one or more European languages is essential for this role. This contract will run between 3-6 months and provides plently of flexibility only being in the office 2 times a week at most.
Responsibilities for the Credit Controller:
- Manage and monitor the credit control process for European clients.
- Communicate with clients to ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Assess credit risk and establish credit limits for new and existing clients.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes promptly.
- Prepare and analyze aging reports to identify and address overdue accounts.
- Work closely with sales and customer service teams to resolve customer billing issues.
- Communicate effectively with clients in English and one or more European languages.
- Collaborate with international teams to ensure a seamless credit control process across different regions.
Qualifications for the Credit Controller:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred not mandatory)
- Proven experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a related financial role.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in one or more European languages (
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and credit control processes.
