Fully Remote, Credit Control Assistant Manager (6-month contract), £32,000-£37,000
IN2Consult is seeking an experienced Credit Control Assistant Manager to join our client's finance team. As a Credit Control Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with managing the credit control function of 2 and ensuring that debts are collected in a timely and effective manner.
The main responsibilities for the Fully Remote Credit Control Assistant Manager are:
- Ensure credit control policies and procedures are followed to ensure timely and effective collection of debts
- Maintain accurate records of all debtors and their payment history
- Conduct regular credit checks on new and existing customers to assess their creditworthiness
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure credit limits are set appropriately
- Liaise with customers to resolve any payment issues and negotiate payment plans where necessary.
- Respond to and resolve queries from customers, supporting and advising them to follow the correct procedures.
The ideal person for the Fully Remote Credit Control Assistant Manager would have:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in credit control, with at least 2 years in a management role
- Strong understanding of credit control procedures and practices
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
