German Payroll specialist, Fully Remote, 9 Months initial contract, SAP, German, EMEA, Part time 2-2.5 days per week

IN2 Consult are currently recruiting for a German speaking Payroll specialist to join them on a part time basis. The role is working for a well known EMEA Shared Service and offers a good opportunity to extend.

Day to day;

  • Preparing global payroll data for payroll processing by third party payroll administration partners ensuring accurate and timely processing of the company’s payrolls.
  • Executing day-to-day data entry, data corrections, mass upload etc., & verifying timekeeping records and consulting managers/employees about any discrepancies.
  • Run remote and calculate off-cycle pay checks.
  • Escalating & resolving payroll issues with root cause analysis and corrective action for all levels of employees and management, with a focus on ensuring a positive and seamless employee experience in partnership with HR Shared Services.
  • Ensure timely preparation, processing, maintenance and appropriate distribution of payroll information, payroll reports, all tax year end reports, payroll manuals and related payroll working instructions.
  • Perform payroll execution in accordance with all company, country, federal, state, local and other applicable compliance requirements.

 

Background;

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in payroll administration, preferably in shared services centre environment
  • Fluent (both orally and in writing) in English and German
  • Previous German payroll experience
  • Multi-national companies experience, especially for with Payroll EMEA
  • Experience working with third-party payroll services providers.
  • Experience working in systems such as SAP, SuccessFactors, ADP Celergo & ADP Global View, ADP E-Time and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • You’re proactive, have a strong eye for detail, and are results oriented, capable of partnering with multiple external & internal stakeholders.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, complex, and highly matrixed environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant qualification or accreditation with a professional body for payroll.
