IN2Consult - Management Accountant - Basingstoke - £32 000-£35 000 + Study Support & Benefits
We are currently supporting one of our instantly recognisable clients on the recruitment of a management accountant to join their team in Basingstoke. This is a great opportunity for those with experience working towards month end and looking to develop this skillset further within a close-knit team, with potential to take on additional responsibility further down the line.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Month end posting, including balance sheet reconciliation and P&L
- Posting accrual & prepayments for month end
- Preparing statutory reports
- Partnering with non-financial divisions within the business, providing commentary on any variances
- Preparation of budgets & forecasts
- Intercompany reconciliations, working closely with the group team
- Liasing with external auditors
- Supporting the FC and FD with ad-hoc requests
The key requirements for this role are:
- Experience producing management accounts
- Strong communication skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with statutory accounts HIGHLY DESIRABLE
