IN2Consult / Production Accountant / Permanent / up to £45,000 pa / 1 day remote per week
IN2Consult are working with a well established media production company who are looking for a production accountant to join their team. You will need to have a background in media production (TV specifically) to be successful. Please see below the responsibilities -
Responsibilities
- Ensure automated monthly transaction data is provided to production teams
- Monitor production schedules and spend
- Regular meetings with Head of Production and PMs to review Production cost reports
- Preparing Production Cost Reports for clients where necessary
- Raising production milestone invoices and maintain credit control on production related debtors
- Final Production paperwork where production teams are unable to complete. Typically this will include CGI, Music and Archive Licensing
- At the end of a project, manage the handover of financial elements of Productions ensuring all advances are reconciled and that Purchase Orders have been raised by the production team for all outstanding costs
- Ensure cash requirements of Productions are managed in line with company policy
- Keeping up to date the intranet Freelancer payment schedule
- Mentor Junior Production Accountant
- Driving continuous improvement to processes and procedures
- Accurately code and posting of production purchase invoices, matching to purchase orders where appropriate projects under remit
- Distribute a fortnightly aged creditor report for HoF/FC review for projects under remit
- Reconcile supplier accounts on a monthly basis for projects under remit
Beneficial Skills
- Previous working experience in a similar role
- Excellent level of communication
- Good level of MS Excel
- Happy to be self-sufficient
