IN2Consult / Senior AP Specialist / Sole role / up to £40,000 / Belgravia / 10 month FTC / 3 days of remote working per week
IN2Conuslt are working with a well established media company who are looking for a sole AP Specialist to join their team on a 10 month FTC. This role can pay up to the equivalent of £40,000 pa & offers 3 days of remote working per week. They are looking for a confident & well experienced individual with ideally 5 + years of AP experience & knowledge of how to work in a sole position. You will need to be dealing with senior members of the business on a day-to-day basis hence the need for confidence. Please see below the responsibilities -
Responsibilities

Code and check invoices for various companies

Input / Batch invoices and input onto Sage 200

Filing of all invoices and statements

Payment runs using the banking payment platform

Correctly input the monthly payroll via the banking platform ensuring the deadline is met

Check and reconcile supplier statements

Credit card uploads
-
Work out VAT payments
-
Prompt response of any purchase enquiries

Process staff and freelancer expenses
-
Process expense claims and credit card claims on a timely basis and ensure these are correctly reflected in the ledger

To liaise with the HR team to answer queries and requests from staff and to complete any administration work relating to employee benefit schemes such as Travel insurance, EAP program, BUPA medical insurance, Cycle-to-Work scheme etc

To regularly contact and liaise with budget-holders for authorisation of invoices in a timely manner

Assist in the maintenance of the sales ledger when required

To ensure that the Purchase Ledger is accurately maintained and process deadlines (payment dates) are met

To ensure suppliers (trade suppliers) are paid in accordance with agreed terms and conditions, or in accordance with best practice

Any other ad hoc duties required within the business
Key Skills
- 5 + years of AP experience
- Knowladge of how to work in a sole transactional finance position
- Comfortable on Sage, more specifically Sage 200
- Comfortable on MS Excel
- Good level of confidence & the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders
