IN2 consult are currently looking for a Management Accountant to join a key client of ours based in Basingstoke. The client are looking for someone ideally with some business partnering experience who can produce month end accounts, assist with budgeting and forecasting and develop internal relationships with key stakeholders. An overview of the role is listed below;
Day to day duties
- Deliver accurate and comprehensive internal financial management accounts
- Deliver analysis and commentary explaining monthly performance variances against Budgets and Forecasts,
- Support the business on reforecasting
- Assist with analysis of actuals to ensure accurate accounting
- Take responsibility for the budget and forecasting process, supporting budget holders and having confidence in knowing when to encourage, when to instruct, and when to push back - Identifying and implementing improvements to the month end financial close process, the annual budget process and other on-going reporting and finance processes
Background
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA Fully Qualified
- Strong exposure to management accounting practices
- Knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting
- Experience in working for large, complex organisations
- Strong communication skills
