Credit Controller (contract), Wokingham Hybrid, £17-£20 hourly
We are seeking a Credit Controller to join our clients team located in Wokingham. In this role, you will have the responsibility of managing credit operations, with a strong focus on credit risk. This is initially starting as a 3-month rolling contract, but could be extended as workloads increase.
Key duties for the credit controller
Credit Risk Management: Evaluate credit applications, monitor credit limits, and develop strategies to mitigate credit risk.
Collections Management: Oversee credit collection processes, ensure timely payments, and maintain positive customer relationships.
Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis on customers to assess their creditworthiness, establish appropriate credit terms and limits.
Credit Policy Development: Collaborate with senior management to enhance and implement credit policies and procedures that minimize credit risk and optimize cash flow.
Reporting and Communication: Generate reports and maintain transparent communication channels with management, customers, and internal stakeholders.
Key requirements for the credit controller
Minimum of 2 years of credit control experience, with a background in credit risk.
Knowledge of relevant credit legislation and regulations.
Familiarity with financial software and systems.
0-2 week notice period.
