About the Firm

Our client is a rapidly growing and dynamic financial services firm with a strong reputation for excellence, innovation, and client partnership. With a focus on delivering high-quality assurance and advisory services, the firm is expanding its leadership team to support its continued growth in the Asset Management sector.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Audit Partner with deep expertise in Financial Services, particularly within the Asset Management industry, to join our leadership team. This is a strategic role for a forward-thinking professional who is passionate about driving growth, mentoring teams, and shaping the firm’s FS audit practice during an exciting period of expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow the Asset Management audit portfolio, overseeing the delivery of high-quality assurance services to a diverse range of clients, including fund managers, investment trusts, and private equity firms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing strategic insights and technical expertise that add real value to clients’ businesses.
  • Take ownership of client service excellence — ensuring audits are delivered efficiently, on time, and in compliance with regulatory standards (FRC, FCA, etc.).
  • Act as a trusted advisor on financial reporting, risk management, governance, and regulatory matters impacting the Asset Management industry.
  • Drive business development initiatives, including identifying and converting new opportunities, expanding service offerings, and contributing to overall practice growth.
  • Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with other Partners and Directors across the Financial Services group to ensure a unified approach to client delivery and firm-wide objectives.

Key Requirements

  • ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience in audit leadership within the Financial Services sector.
  • Proven track record as an Audit Partner, Director, or equivalent senior leader managing Asset Management clients.
  • Deep technical understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS, and relevant regulatory frameworks governing funds and investment vehicles.
  • Strong business development skills with the ability to identify growth opportunities and build long-term client relationships.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and people development skills.
  • Commercially astute, strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a passion for innovation and growth.

What’s on Offer

  • Competitive Partner-level package including equity potential.
  • Opportunity to play a key role in shaping a fast-growing FS practice with autonomy and influence.
  • Collaborative, entrepreneurial culture that values innovation and excellence.
  • Exposure to leading Asset Management clients and complex, high-impact projects.
