This role is integral to supporting financial and operational performance improvements across the business through the use of Excel and Power BI, focusing on data analysis, reporting accuracy, and process optimisation.

This is not a technical or IT role—no coding, system support, or software development is involved. Instead, it’s a high-impact finance position with strong ties to operations, commercial, and strategic functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy of rental revenue data and support contract updates and invoicing processes.

  • Create, manage, and enhance dashboards using Power BI and Excel, providing visibility over key business metrics.

  • Perform deep-dive analysis to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.

  • Work closely with commercial, operations, and finance stakeholders to provide insight and improve performance outcomes.

  • Develop internal and customer-facing reports to support both tactical decisions and longer-term planning.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Advanced Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, and complex formulas.

  • Proficiency in Power BI for reporting, data modelling, and dashboard creation.

  • At least 3 years expereince in a finance, commercial analysis, or performance management role.

  • A strong analytical mindset with a background in business reporting, cost control, or performance tracking.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, asset-intensive, or transport-related environment.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Hyperion.

Note: This role is not technical/IT-focused and does not involve system administration, coding, or development work.
