Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of demand planning processes, collaborating closely with finance, supply chain, and operations teams.

  • Manage reporting for fixed assets across multiple business units, including R&D and operational support functions.

  • Lead the review and reconciliation of inventory transactions and stock movements across financial and operational systems.

  • Ensure the accuracy of purchase orders and sales orders across procurement and ERP platforms.

  • Support senior finance and operational leadership with supplier management and inter-system reconciliation.

  • Continuously evaluate and enhance internal processes, especially within finance, sales operations, and supply chain.

  • Develop and report on key operational and financial KPIs (e.g. stock ageing, inventory turnover) to drive data-led decision-making.

  • Take ownership of month-end tasks including accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Work with the Group Financial Controller on variance analysis and ensure reconciliation files are completed and reviewed on time.

  • Maintain oversight of item receipt and invoice matching processes within ERP systems.

  • Support wider team projects and ad hoc financial analysis as required.

  • Ensure all processes are clearly documented and regularly reviewed for accuracy and improvement.

  • Liaise with third-party logistics partners and support vendor relationship management as needed.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Qualified or Finalist (ACCA, CIMA, ACA); candidates with strong experience but no qualification (QBE) also considered.

  • Strong academic background; degree with a 2:1 or above preferred.

  • Proficient with Excel and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs).

  • Previous experience using ERP and CRM systems (NetSuite and Salesforce highly advantageous).

  • Strong analytical mindset with an ability to interpret data and drive action.

  • Experience in fast-growing, investor-backed businesses (e.g. Private Equity or Venture Capital) is desirable.

  • Solid understanding of management accounting, business partnering, and stock accounting processes.

  • Minimum 2–3 years in a commercial finance or operational finance position.

Personal Attributes:

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including presenting financial insights to non-finance teams.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.

  • Eagerness to learn, adapt and develop within a high-growth business.

  • Collaborative team player with a flexible, results-driven mindset.
