? About the Role

We're currently partnering with a high-growth, international group headquartered in London, seeking a Group Finance Manager to join their central finance function. This is a newly created role, reflecting strong growth and increased complexity across the business.

The position is ideal for a technically strong accountant looking to move into a fast-paced, commercial environment. You'll play a key role in managing the Group's technical accounting, statutory reporting, and financial governance - while supporting strategic finance initiatives across the global business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of group statutory consolidation and technical accounting under IFRS
  • Lead on the preparation and review of Group financial statements, working with external auditors and local finance teams
  • Monitor and implement changes in IFRS and ensure compliance across all entities
  • Act as a key point of contact for auditinternal controls, and financial governance
  • Support ad hoc finance projects including acquisition accounting, restructuring, and treasury improvements
  • Provide technical accounting advice on business transactions (e.g. M&A, intercompany arrangements, lease accounting)
  • Collaborate with FP&A, tax, and commercial finance teams to provide insight and financial oversight
  • Identify and implement process improvements and best practices across group finance

? Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) - trained in a Big 4 or Top 10 practice
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and consolidated group accounting
  • Experience preparing or auditing complex group accounts
  • Confident communicator able to liaise with senior stakeholders across functions
  • Prior industry experience an advantage but not essential - strong first-time mover from practice encouraged
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-growth and evolving environment

? What's on Offer?

  • Base salary up to £90,000
  • 15% annual bonus
  • Hybrid working (2-3 days in Central London office)
  • Clear progression path in a growing finance team
  • Exposure to senior leadership, strategic finance, and international operations
  • High-impact role with visibility across group and divisional leadership
