Interim Finance Director – Global FX Payments Business (UK)- 3-6 Month Contract- ACCA/ACA Qualified- London (Hybrid)
IN2 Consult is partnering with a high-growth global FX payments organisation undergoing significant regulatory, operational and strategic change. They are seeking an exceptionalInterim Finance Directorto take ownership of UK finance, regulatory compliance and leadership across two key regulated entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- HoldSMF3 – Executive Directorresponsibility, acting as a senior leader across governance and oversight.
- Act asCASS Oversight OfficerandSafeguarding Accountable Owner, ensuring rigorous client money protection.
- Ensure fullprudential regulatory compliancefor the UK entities.
- Own theexternal audit process, statutory reporting and sign-off of annual accounts.
- Deliverfinancial performance reportingand regulatory status updates to ExCo, Boards and Group.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and strategic finance cycles, supported by Group FP&A and Treasury shared services.
- Act as the key finance partner to theUK CEO, providing insight, challenge and data-driven decision support.
Skills & Experience Required
- Qualified Accountant(ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with extensive statutory reporting experience.
- Strongregulatory reportingbackground within payments, fintech or banking, including oversight and sign-off of regulatory submissions.
- Demonstrated expertise inclient asset protection, safeguarding and CASS compliance.
- Ideally brings experience inFX, derivatives, and the relevant accounting and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven capability acrossstrategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.
- Comfortable operating in amatrix environment, leveraging shared service functions for accounting, treasury, regulatory and credit reporting.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability tosimplify complex issuesand drive decisive, action-oriented support for senior stakeholders.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented leadership style with the ability to influence and collaborate across global teams.
