Management Accountant - £40,000 - £45,000 - London - Hybrid & Benefits - Hospitality
IN2 Consult are supporting a fast-growing Hospitality business based in London to join their expanding team to support the UK business unit, producing accurate and timely management accounts and partnering with a variety of stakeholders.

This Management Accountant role includes the following duties:
- Compile internal reports outlining financial outcomes, including summaries of income, assets, and liabilities.
- Evaluate business results using recorded financial data to track performance indicators.
- Detect inefficiencies or financial concerns and offer strategic insights or improvement suggestions to leadership.
- Support end-of-month and year-end financial close processes, including journal entries.
- Input regular expense estimates for utilities.
- Post earnings to the appropriate ledgers.
- Complete periodic account checks and ensure records match balance sheet entries.
- Review and compare regional income versus outflow to flag any unusual variances.
- Check that local financial codes are used correctly and adjust postings as needed.
- Manage incoming communication related to receivables.
- Translate financial metrics into clear explanations for departments without accounting expertise.
- Handle operational banking tasks excluding travel and foreign currency matters.
- Record major bank activities and update financial logs, ensuring customer transactions are assigned to the correct internal systems.
- Reconcile weekly revenue from sales terminals and prepare related cash deposits.
- Carry out weekly uploads of supplier procurement information.
- Administer tax rates and licenses related to operational and property responsibilities.
- Track and report on staff housing expenditures and coordinate relevant payroll-year details with HR.
- Act as liaison with third-party systems providers and financial partners, including software vendors and advisors.
- Oversee the accuracy of the ledger within the main accounting system and set up new approved accounts when necessary.
- Generate analytical data summaries as needed for internal stakeholders.
- Process internal spending approvals for capital projects.
- Follow established procedures to ensure compliance and reduce exposure to errors.
- Keep records in order and provide general assistance with financial duties as required.
The ideal candidate for this Management Accountant role will have the following experience:
- Hospitality experience essential
- Actively studying towards CIMA/ACCA Qualification
- Proven experience in producing timely and accurate management accounts
- Ability to communicate effectively and concisely
- Team player with a 'can-do' attitude
- Ability to analyse and summarise complex financial data
